Isaiah 45:7-9
Legacy Standard Bible

7 The One (A)forming light and (B)creating darkness,
Producing peace and (C)creating calamity;
I am Yahweh who does all these.

Yahweh the Maker

8 “(D)Drip down, O heavens, from above,
And let the skies pour down righteousness;
Let the (E)earth open up and salvation bear fruit,
(F)And righteousness [a]spring up with it.
I, Yahweh, have created it.

9 “Woe to the one who (G)contends with his [b]Maker—
An earthenware vessel [c]among the vessels of earth!
Will the (H)clay say to the [d]potter, ‘What are you doing?’
Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?
